Since the inaugural WoodEX for Africa expo was held in 2012, WoodEX has attracted quality exhibitors and visitors from close to 30 different countries. It is established as the gateway to Africa’s timber trade and as the ultimate machinery, tools and supplies gathering in Africa. WoodEX for Africa will partner with the well-established international exhibition Bio360, which recently expanded into the African market with the launch of Bio360 Africa at Gallagher Convention Centre in June 2026. Bio360 Africa is a perfect fit alongside WoodEX for Africa, bringing together two complementary exhibitions with strong connections across the forestry, timber, wood, biomass and bioenergy industries. As part of this new partnership and co-location with Bio360 Africa, WoodEX for Africa will return to a biennial format, with the next edition taking place in June 2028. The partnership will also see the return of the popular WoodEX outdoor exhibition area, together with Timber Talks and a dedicated Wood Conference running alongside the Bio360 Africa Conference, creating an even broader platform for the industry.
