Bookings for WoodEX for Africa 2014 now open
Bookings for exhibition space at WoodEX for Africa 2014, the biggest event in Africa focusing exclusively on the timber industry, are now open. The event will be held from 5 to 7 June 2014 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, South Africa.
Now in its third year, the event showcases innovative timber and woodworking products and services such as woodworking machinery, decking, flooring, structured timber, timber treating, saw milling and logging, pulp and paper manufacturing and wood material and veneer production.
For WoodEX for Africa 2014, special attention will be placed on expanding the show’s exhibition areas for machinery, tooling, kitchen and furniture manufacturers and accessories fittings & decor materials.
Stephan Jooste, organiser of WoodEX for Africa, says the show is being held three months later than usual next year, as this date fits in better on the international timber industry calendar. “This new date was tested extensively amongst the international timber trade and was received favourably, with many of the major role players acknowledging the important role WoodEX plays in the African market place and indicating their involvement in the event next year. Enquiries for exhibition space are already being received and the first bookings have been confirmed, indicating that next year’s event will be the best ever. International exhibitor enquiries are specifically being received from the European, Asian and African markets”.
WoodEX for Africa aims to attract visitors from South Africa and abroad and is the ideal platform for explore business opportunities into the African marketplace. “The event showcases the world what Africa has to offer in terms of the export and manufacturing of eco-friendly timber products. As a showcase for the very best in the timber industry, WoodEX for Africa is without doubt a highlight on the continent’s timber and wood calendar,” says Jooste.
